Konotop Aircraft Repair Plant “AVIAKON” provides advanced training and skills improvement of the Customer’ staff on flight and ground maintenance of Mi-24/35, Mi-8/17 helicopters and their modifications, carry-out of overhaul and refurbishment of Mil-design helicopters of all types and modifications.
Training is performed in compliance with the prepared programs in Russian and English, adapted to meet the aviation requirements of the customers. Availability of qualified multifunctional experts and specialized personnel at the plant makes it possible to develop various programs aimed at profound studies of separate subjects, depending on the customer’s requirements specifications and students’ level.
The training process provides traditional methodical and visual aids (diagrams, tables, aggregate models etc.), as well as up-to-date technical aids, including training software and interactive educational technologies, also self-owned helicopters for advanced flight training of pilots.
The distinctive feature is the opportunity to get acquainted with the real components at working stations.
The specific features of training and skills improvement of the customer’s specialists – Mi-series helicopters operators at the facilities of the aircraft repair plant are as follows:
visual demonstration of the results of improper maintenance, using the examples of rejected units and assemblies, justifying the necessity of following the requirements of the maintenance documentation;
comparative analysis of robustness of helicopter system elements, which allows the students to improve their skills in detecting defects;
getting acquainted with overhaul processes allows the operators to extend the range of aids for elimination of the defects which may occur on aircraft.
